ABOUT

Hi, I'm Franci. I graduated from the Interior Design Institute in 2020 and very much enjoy being part of the interior design world. I love to share my passion for beautiful interiors with others, and I’m a firm believer that interior spaces should be both practical and beautiful, for the full enjoyment of those who live in them. I have thoroughly enjoyed building up my interior design business over the last few years, as it brings me a lot of joy to see my clients' homes transformed into spaces they love living in.

Growing up, my mother created beautiful homes for us, whether the house was a rental or our own home. She was always drawing up house plans, concocting some new idea for knocking out a wall, re-upholstering furniture, or figuring out which artwork would be just right in that spot. Dad, being a good sport, has always helped her make those ideas become a reality in their home. Given that beginning, it is no surprise that creating beautiful spaces runs in my blood and brings me joy.

The naming of Goldberry Interiors was inspired by Goldberry, the wife of Tom Bombadil in J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings, whose home and hospitality comforts the weary Hobbit travellers after long and difficult travel. Like Goldberry, it is my desire to bring beauty and comfort to your home to make it a peaceful and functional haven for you and any visitors to it -- a place where you can "shut out the night".

'Come dear folk!’ she said, taking Frodo by the hand. 'Laugh and be merry! I am Goldberry, daughter of the River.’ Then lightly she passed them and closing the door she turned her back to it, with her white arms spread out across it. 'Let us shut out the night!’ she said. 'For you are still afraid, perhaps, of mist and tree-shadows and deep water, and untame things. Fear nothing! For tonight you are under the roof of Tom Bombadil.’” –J.R.R. Tolkien, The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, “In the House of Tom Bombadil”.
